Errands is a multi-platform project that includes two websites, a mobile app, and a backend API. The project was built using React, React Native, Node.js, and Prisma. Custom designed to meet the needs of Errands, a local delivery service in New York City, the project is maintained by a team of developers, with me as the lead developer and project owner.
Errands.nyc is the main website for Errands. It is a custom-designed website built using PHP and Javascript. The website is designed to be user-friendly and easy to navigate. The website includes a custom-built order form, company information and policies, resources for customers and employees, and a contact form. The website is updated regularly with new features and content.
The web app, app.errands.nyc, includes both the admin dashboard and the customer dashboard. The admin dashboard is used by the Errands team to track deliveries, manage billing, and communicate with customers. The customer dashboard is used by customers to place orders, track deliveries, view invoices, and communicate with the Errands team. The web app is built using React.
The Errands Pro app streamlines delivery management for Errands drivers. It supports proof of delivery with photos and signatures, facilitates communication with customers, and offers navigation and optimized routing for multiple deliveries. The app is built with React Native and Expo and is available for download on the App Store and Google Play Store.
